Before ever getting into the security business I worked for a record company and before that I was in several bands. As recently as last year (to the very day in fact) our band (The Shiitake Project) played a live show at a club called Clinton’s in Toronto. It was a benefit concert for breast cancer research. Last year after I bought my MacBook I started messing around with GarageBand. Well, the result was an electronic music project that I call Mescaline. It only seems fitting that a year after the last live show that I played in (and the fact that it’s April Fools) that I put up a site to host my tunes.

So, why the name? Simple, sometimes the music is enjoyable but, after a while you might need to puke. Ha. But, to be honest I do listen to these on my iPod when I’m at the gym. I’ll be releasing a new (better?) batch of songs in a couple months.

Enjoy.
