MSN Phisher, Jayson Harris, 23, get 21 months. Hopefully we will see a great deal more of this type of prosecution going forward. The gun toting bandit has been replaced with the laptop carrying dweeb.

In late December last year, Harris pled guilty to fraud and wire fraud in connection with a phishing scheme designed to dupe MSN customers. On those two counts, he faced maximum sentences of 10 years and 20 years respectively.

It could have been a much tougher sentence. Still, good job!
