I have been blogging for a few years now and during that time I have been using the WordPress platform exclusively. Why? Well, for no other reason that it was free and the first one I tried. I grew to like it. Foibles not withstanding I has proven an easy to use platform with its requisite problems. Recently, the WordPress folks added the ability to incorporate the use of SSL certs for managing the site. A nice way to help protect your traffic in flight…like passwords.
Today I had a rude surprise.
This was the result of an interaction between ScribeFire 3.2 and WordPress and my username and password was passed back to me over a clear channel. And for anyone who might attempt to recover the password in the image I’ve already changed it.
