Beginning tomorrow flights in both Canada and the US will be allowing travellers to carry small travel size toiletries.
“After the initial, total ban, we have learned enough from the UK investigation to say with confidence that small, travel size liquids are safe to bring through security checkpoints in limited numbers,” Kip Hawley, an assistant secretary for the Transportation Security Administration, said Monday.
The Canadian government is also modifying its rules, according to a TSA press release. The European Union and the United Kingdom are expected to consider similar changes in the coming weeks.
This is great news for travellers like yours truly.
