Thanks to the folks from Red Lambda, RIM, Net Forensics, Vantos(?), and BigFix who were good enough to sponsor the reception after day one’s sessions. I had attended roughly the same lineup as Myrcurial with the exception of one which was David Litchfield’s talk on Oracle forensics. The long and the short of this presentation was that no has really been concentrating on this area, strangely enough. Which the exception of Litchfield who admittedly has only been spending the last six months researching it. A good presentation all in all.

But, I digress. I would also like to thank the folks from Breach who sponsored the OWASP party at Shadow Bar. No juicy stories to relate I’m afraid. Thanks to them I have to shave my tongue this morning. The funny part of that party was that I’m showing my age. I wandered back to my room at just before 10 pm. I feel so old.

This morning, according to the schedule, I can see Richard Clarke deliver the keynote from Bruce Schneier (I love typos.). I did manage to meet John Heasman who will be giving a presentation this morning on “Hacking the Extensible Firmware Interface” read=bios rootkits. I recommend checking this presentation out.

I wonder where RR disappeared to?
