Let’s face it, there are a lot of sick bastards out there. The lowest form being the pedophile. They should be rounded up, given a fair trial, convicted and dropped into general population in a federal proson with a sign around their neck. It would be a short existence for them but, at least they would be able to know the pain they caused their victims. Dark thoughts but, do these animals deserve any better? I say, no. Back in the mid 90’s I knew a group of hackers that would pose as a 13 year old girl in chat rooms. They would harvest all of the information for the males that came on to “her” and then email it to the police. Never knew if any of that panned out. However, now the FBI are utilizing the same methods in chat rooms. My only question would be, what took so long? Kids have to be be protected from predators online .
Agents use chats and other more private exchanges to seek out potential pedophiles and pornographers. Another man who believed he was talking to a 13-year-old asked how old she likes her men, then, “virgin?” The agents save transcripts of the online conversations, photographs that get exchanged and telephone numbers that are revealed, intentionally or not.
Can the arguement of entrapment be used? NO. These chatters fall on their own sword. The FBI chatters, much like the hackers, took a passive approach to the conversations. Children need to be protected on the internet.
