Well, would you look at that. Finally, after many moons, Facebook has finally gotten around to enabling SSL by default.
From Facebook:
As announced last year, we are moving to HTTPS for all users. This week, we’re starting to roll out HTTPS for all North America users and will be soon rolling out to the rest of the world.
Glad to see they’re rolling this out finally. Following in Twitter’s footsteps as they rolled out SSL always on 10 months ago.
So, FaceBook SSL. Yahoo? You taking notes? By my count you’re the only shop left that has trouble with the concept.

UPDATE: I took it upon myself to reach out and ask Marissa Mayer if Yahoo will switch to always on SSL.
@marissamayer I know you’re busy but, any chance that Yahoo will move to always on SSL?

In the off chance that I get a reply I will update.
