The mountains of Colombia have taken down Kevin Mitnick, again. From his hospital bed he said that he will be on the first possible flight back to the US when he is well enough. The last time Mitnick was in Colombia he took ill due to a combination of perscription medication and the altitude. He was scheduled to attend the HOPE conference in NY this week but, couldn’t make it onto the plane.
“I tried to get to the airport to get to the plane to New York and just couldn’t make it,” he said.
Mitnick, in Colombia on consulting work for a client he would not name, said doctors had given him antibiotics, morphine and a penicillin shot in the rear end — “which was the worst thing that ever happened to me.”
Wait, a client he could not name? Oh no. Kev, c’mon say it ain’t so. The logical suspicion would be the cartel lads. I hope that the five+ years in lockup taught him better than that.
