Last week I wrote about the new anti-hacking laws President Obama plans to float in his State of the Union address and how the proposals are Draconian at best.
I noted that it’s in our power to educate the masses and stop this thing before it becomes law.
To that end, I have something to share with you.
Derek Watson — better known in the security community as Blak Dayz (@blakdayz) — posted the following call to action:
Hackers. It’s time to UNITE.
With these new proposed laws, they are literally coming for our freedom.
If you are interested in joining in a fast galvanization of our vast numbers in order to politically fight against these new proposed laws, send me an IM or a DM on twitter (@blakdayz)…or just fill in this form.
We are our only voice. We have no lobbyists – no PACs. In order to win this game, we need to play it. If you are interested, give me a ping – and stay tuned for what you can do to help out.

Share this, and get things going. We need to respond.
You heard the man, and you know what to do.
Unfortunately we have people passing laws who have no understanding of the technology.
