This is a new hotfix for IE7. Now, as was discussed earlier by Myrcurial, why is it so hard for Microsoft to get it right? This is by no means a case of use this browser and not this one. Yadda yadda yadda. No, this is a question of why is it that Microsoft, who has been beating the security drum for a few years now, can’t put out something that is as close to bulletproof as it can be. Yes, before you jump down my throat I know that this is a tall order and that every browser has vulnerabilities. That is, sadly, a given. With all of the resources that are available to the Redmond clan why is so hard to focus in and do it right. They are suffering from a problem similar to Cisco and lot of other large shops. They are trying to be everything to everyone. There has to a point at which they say ok, enough. We are going to do these 10 things really damn well and THEN we will address the new projects.
Am I off my tree?
