Myrcurial goes to S4 – part the second

I find myself in a position of being speechless.

Much like when I admitted that Microsoft makes some pretty good products.

DHS (Department of Homeland Security – Hi Guys!) is presenting at S4 on the topic of useful actionable information security metrics.

And they are BANG on the money!

Seriously, I was sitting there with my shoes off, my change in a hat, my 3-1-1 baggie, ready for the snap of the rubber glove (which is applied to those of us with advanced security classifications.) and they came through with quality, timely, useful information which will actually help to reduce the likelihood of a control systems incident.

Jaw.on.the.floor.

Ok – actually, it’s Sean McBride from INL talking about “Measurable Control System Security Through Ideal Driven Technical Metrics” — but it’s funded by DHS. And there’s a DHS logo on the slides. And it’s really really really good.
