Ah, the dance of the patches approaches. As with every second Tuesday we find ourselves acosted with the deluge of patches from Microsoft. Annoying, of course but, I much prefer this method to the good old days of scatter shot patch releases.
That being said, we’re looking at 19 fixes from Microsoft this month. Four of the fixes are set as critical.
The affected software includes, Windows XP (stop that), Windows 2003/2008, Vista and 7. It’s interesting to note that one of the criticals affects Windows 8, 2012 and RT.
Important software patches land in Office portion of the software suite for this patch release.
