The race is on to collect 500 signatures to be added to the ISC2 Board of Directors election ballot! I am running because I want to affect positive change for the membership and help provide greater benefit to the ISC2 membership overall. Let’s be honest. There a lot of people out there who are disaffected with the state of affairs regarding the CISSP certification. I’m one of those people.
Rather than whine about it, I’m trying to make a differnce.
I have had questions posed to me as to exactly how I will change the state of things and, I’ll be completely blunt, I don’t know. Why? Because I’ve not yet been inside the ISC2 organization and have yet to learn how it operates. Once I learn…well, you know how that goes. 🙂
Another comment that was voiced in last week was “what have the current board members done?” While I cannot speak for them, I can speak for myself and I will endeavour to supply updates as to my progress to provide a level of transparency.
As of this writing I’m currently at 346 signatures. I need to garner 500 signatures just to be added to the ballot. I need to collect these by September 17th. I need your support to get there.
Are you an ISC2 member (not just CISSPs)? Please take a moment to sign my petition.
While you’re at it, please check out the petitions of my fellow “four horsemen” who are also trying to get a spot on the ballot:
With your support, change will happen!
