Security Briefing – January 8th

G’morning!

Great reading this morning. The hiring process is interesting to me in that it seems to be evolving quickly right now. It used to be that a recruiter or manager had only a resume to go by. Currently, one can read blogs or search the internet to glean information about a potential hire. shrdlu calls out the prima donna’s for who they are and isn’t that what finding the right person for the job is all about? The course of hiring may be changing but I don’t see how anyone in the early part of their career can sidestep the traditional interview routine. Seasoned professionals still have to deal with the questioning and paperwork, if they want to get paid, that is. My 2¢, and mine alone.

Anyhow… sneaking suspicion that I’ve caught the virus that’s been creeping around. Going to bathe in Purell and go back to bed.

Thanks for stopping by.

Signed,

The Intern
