A vulnerability has been discovered in Sony PlayStation Portable, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user’s system.The vulnerability is caused due to an error in libTIFF and can be exploited to execute arbitrary code when a specially crafted TIFF image is viewed in the Photo Viewer.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 2.60 and has also been reported in versions 2.00 through 2.80.
The easy way is to not view untrusted images according to the posting. Well, either that or you could put the thing down, go outside and read a book. Remember those?
