There has to be a massive undertaking to attempt to get a better handle on data management as a whole. Public and private industries alike are bleeding from the ears on a regular basis due to mismanaged or stolen mobile devices such as laptops and PDAs. In an incident such as the Blair story it could have potentially led to an attack had the information fallen into the wrong hands.

So, what does it take to get people to start taking mobile security seriously?
